APEC lists the ROES-50 at 50 gallons per day at 60 psi and 30 gallons per day at 50 psi at 77°F. That is a 40% drop in the stated daily production figure between those two pressure conditions. The tank buffers slow membrane production so the faucet can deliver stored water. It does not make membrane production instantaneous. Heavy consecutive draws can reduce faucet flow until the system refills.

Water-source limits are not optional

Municipal customers should begin with the current consumer confidence report and any building-specific reason to test at the tap. The current manual requires a cold-water feed connection, drain saddle, separate faucet, tank, tubing, and several assemblies. It specifies indoor sheltered installation, cold feed only, local-law compliance, and inspection for shipping damage before proceeding.
Faucet work can be the gate. An unused soap-dispenser hole may solve it; otherwise the sink or countertop material needs the right drilling method and permission. Stone, porcelain, metal, composite, and laminate are not interchangeable. Use a qualified installer when drilling, drain rules, shutoff condition, or unfamiliar fittings create uncertainty.

APEC’s current manual schedules the three prefilters every 6–12 months.
